Hey! My name is Emile. I work as a composer, artist and producer in the countryside of the Netherlands. Being in nature surrounded with silence, sets the right ground for me to start creating and finding the music that inspires me.

My musical journey began with the hippies of Andalusia (Spain). From there, it led me to the sound-nerds of composition and music production at HKU in Utrecht, and later to the dancing bodies at the School for New Dance development at the Academy of Theatre and Dance in Amsterdam. In the end, it brought me back to a more hybrid position, in the country but not to far from it all. 


I have been creating music since I was a child, starting with piano-lessons, then producing beats with FL Studio while at highSchool. I was always, collecting sounds, playing multiple instruments, and recording and producing on my own. Yet, I'm a big pro for collaboration, always embracing the input of my colleagues and friends and the magic that happens in-between people.

 

I love to work with the quality of saturation and distortion. With playfulness of odd instruments, such as children's toys, keyboards and rare synths. And I like to combine them with hi-fi quality sounds, such as rich pads, ribbon mic recordings of strings and real instruments or top-end effects.
